Belleek St. Brigid's Cross

St. Brigid is said to have woven together a cross of rushes to aid those in need. This centuries old symbol is believed to ward off hunger and evil, and is sometimes hung in homes. Nowadays, it is a symbol of faith and is used to commemorate holy St. Brigid and springtime.
