Day 1, Fri., April 19 Dublin-Belfast: Arrive Dublin airport to meet your Driver/Guide, he will escort you to your awaiting motor coach. Depart the airport stopping at the Man O’ War Pub for a full Irish breakfast. Then continue on to Newgrange/Knowth for a visit to the passage tombs. These tombs are over 5000 years old. You may also want to make a stop at Monasterboice the remains of an early Christian monastic settlement in County Louth in Ireland, north of Drogheda. The ruins are a National monument of Ireland and also give their name to the local village. Then continue north to Downpatrick for a visit to the St. Patrick Centre for an informative talk and see the grave of St. Patrick. Then into Belfast for some free time to explore the city. Check into your hotel for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2, Sat., April 20 Belfast-Antrim Coast: After a full Irish breakfast at the hotel, depart for a full day. Today we enjoy a scenic tour of the Antrim Coast and visit the Giant's Causeway and Museum. Marvel at the volcanic columns formed over 60 million years ago and hear the ancient fables of the Causeway. Also a visit to the Bushmill’s Distillery will be enjoyed by all. We return to Belfast where we visit Titanic Belfast. Extending over nine galleries, this multi-dimensional exhibit draws together special effects, fullscale reconstructions and innovative interactive features to explore the Titanic Story in a fresh and insightful way. Learn of her conception in Belfast in the early 1900's, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. Then return to Belfast for a panoramic tour of the city. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 3, Sun., April 21- (Easter Sunday) Belfast-Donegal: Leave your hotel a little later today for some time for church services for anyone interested. Your hotel concierge would be able to direct you to a local church. On the way to Donegal you will visit the Ulster American Folk Park. Then head into Donegal for some free time dinner and overnight at the Castle hotel.
Day 4, Mon., April 22- (Easter Monday) Donegal: Depart this morning for a lovely drive through the Blue Stack Mountains. You will stop at the Ti Linn Café to transfer to mini buses that will take you to Slieve League-the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Then enjoy a breathtaking tour through the mountains to Glenveagh Castle and Gardens in the Glenveagh National Park. This afternoon, you will return to your castle hotel. Dinner is on your own.
Day 5, Tue., April 23 Donegal-Ballyfarnon: Depart Donegal to stop in Belleek to visit the famous China Factory. See how artisans who have been passing the craft down for generations create beautiful pieces by hand. Then onto Drumcliffe churchyard to visit the grave of WB Yeats. Continue onto Strokestown Park to visit the house, garden and famine museum before arriving at your Castle hotel for Dinner and overnight.
Day 6, Wed., April 24 Ballyfarnon: Today enjoy the day at the castle. Walk the grounds, visit their wonderful spa or we can have the driver take anyone interested into Sligo for a few hours of pub hopping or shopping. Dinner at the castle tonight.
Day 7, Thur., April 25 Ballyfarnon-Adare: This morning we will be departing for Cong. We will take the Quiet Man Walking tour. Followed by a Cruise on Lough Corrib with an Irish Coffee making demonstration and Irish Dancing demonstration. Continue on to Adare for Dinner and overnight.
Day 8, Fri., April 26 Adare-Limerick: Start the day with a trip to Limerick to visit St. John’s Castle. Then return to Adare for a falconry experience at the castle. The most sought after of all activities, an afternoon spent with our resident falconer and birds of prey will become one of the greatest memories of your life. Dinner on your own tonight to experience the local town of Adare or stay in the castle for dinner on your own.
Day 9, Sat., April 27 Adare-Killarney: Drive to Killarney this morning. Upon arrival, you will take a Jaunting Cart ride through Killarney National Park. Then visit Muckross House. Settle into your hotel with dinner included tonight.
Day 10, Sun., April 28 Killarney: A delightful day takes us along the Kerry coast to the Dingle Peninsula, which offers magnificent coastal scenery. Lunch in a local pub. Beyond Slea Head, we see the Blasket Islands, the last outpost of Europe. A full day tour returning to Killarney, where we enjoy dinner on our own this evening. Overnight in Killarney.
Day 11, Mon., April 29 Killarney – Dublin: Depart Killarney for Dublin. Stopping along the way in Kildare to visit the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens. Then on to the capital city of Dublin. Some free time this afternoon in Dublin. Tonight, you will go the Irish House Party for a dinner and show.
Day 12, Tue., April 30 Dublin: This morning, enjoy a visit to Trinity College to visit the Book of Kells. Followed by the Guinness Storehouse and Kilmainham Goal (based on availability). The rest of the day will be free to do any last minute shopping in Dublin. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Dublin.
Day 13, Wed., May 1 Return to US: Depart this morning for the airport. Return to US same day.
